Hi, my name is Lara and I'm the chef behind Willa.

Willa is a lovely brunch & coffee spot located on a calm plaza in the heart of Bruges. It is a place where people can slow down and take a break from the busy historic streets, and share special moments. 

What started as a passion for good food, discovering brunch spots and enjoying sunny terraces gradually grew into something more. I felt inspired to turn wat I love into my profession. Next to this love, I also studied at Ter Groene Poorte in Bruges, a hotel and restaurant school, where I developed both my skills and my passion for hospitality. 

Bruges, with many locals, daily tourism and constant flow of visitors, has a strong demand for high-quality places to enjoy food and drinks. At the same time, as Belgians, we truly value good food and the joy of spending time together at the table, something deeply rooted in our culture. 

All this became the foundation of Willa. I aim to create a warm and welcoming space where both locals and visitors can slow down, connect and enjoy delicious food and drinks. Expect fresh, honest dishes, homemade treats and a cozy atmosphere with a genuine human touch.
